After more than ten years, Roy Griffins is to retire as chairman of London City Airport.
Griffins has overseen a period of outstanding growth at the airport and leaves the business in excellent shape to fulfil its potential.
Under his guidance, London City has achieved remarkable safe and sustainable growth, attained record passenger levels over successive years, weathered shocks to the global aviation market, and transitioned to new ownership.
Terry Morgan joins the London City Airport board in his place and will take over as its new chairman.
